Celebration Farm Bangladeshi Chinese Wedding | Wern and Heidi Sneak Peeks

This past weekend kicked off wedding season and ended my maternity leave! It's been a great few months of learning miss Lily, but it felt great to be doing what I love again and interacting with people at a wedding. :) 

This season started off at Celebration Farm in Iowa City, Iowa with Wern + Heidi. They met in medical school at the University of Iowa. You can read more of how they met + see their engagement session here.  These two are a blast! I've only spent two days with them, but they're always laughing + making people around them feel loved, + had the ceremony musicians play a Star Wars song. What more could you ask for in a couple?! :)

They pulled both of their cultures into their wedding day. Heidi wore an saree and later changed into a dress from Malaysia at the reception. They had an Bangladeshi ceremony and afterwards had a private Malaysian tea ceremony. It's so great to witness different cultures' approaches to weddings!
