WHO THEY ARE:
"Brian is quiet, playful, realistic, loyal, kind and open-hearted. His favorite things in life are frisbee, golfing, skiing, beer, and cats. Danielle is loud, playful, sassy, artistic, curious, romantic, and idealistic. Her favorite things in life are traveling, sunshine, wine, aged white cheddar, and being surrounded by family."
HOW THEY MET:
"We met in a creative writing class sophomore year of high school. We didn't know anyone else so we sat by each other. Brian started following Danielle to lunch every day until he got up the nerve to ask her out. The rest is history!"
"Brian took Danielle on a romantic skiing weekend in Wausau--after a day of skiing and a couple's massage, roses, champagne and cheesecake were waiting back in the hotel room where Brian got down on one knee and opened...an empty box! He forgot to switch the ring from its other box--whoops! He had to start all over and mostly laughing happened, but Danielle said yes!"
Taylor and I met Brian + Danielle at Veteran's Park in Milwaukee, right on Lake Michigan with a view of their apartment building! How cool is that?! They're moving to Madison after the wedding so they wanted to capture this season of their lives in MKE. The rain held off for us for a while + the fog gave a fun effect you don't get everyday. They had rented one of the bikes on dates before, so we added it as part of their engagement session! I love when couples have us document memories + places that have significance to them! The rain eventually started, so we headed to Third Ward for the overhangs + brought out our umbrella. I think the rain added so much to this shoot + makes Milwaukee look SO romantic + moody! As always, Milwaukee is a blast to photograph + I love how engagement sessions allow us a chance to get to know our couples a bit before their wedding day! We had a blast getting to know these high school sweethearts and can't wait for their August 2017 wedding!
