welcome! we're ali and taylor.
Middle school sweethearts, husband and wife team based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
We can't get enough of showcasing all of our clients' different personalities + sharing love stories through photography.
We just added someone to the fam in march 2017!
Meet LIly. ShE BRINGS A WHOLE LOTTA JOY.
TAYLOR'S THE ENERGETIC ONE,
ALI'S USUALLY CALM & SMILING.
LIly's SILLY & UNBELIEVABLY CUTE.
A L I (me) is calm, smiley, and quirky. I love the outdoors, World Market, books, fish + chips (always!).
I'm an artist, an explorer, a collector of experiences, research, + things from thrift stores, an entrepreneur, an educator. I actually have a teaching degree!
I've been collecting images since I was a little girl. Disposable cameras, digital cameras, and now, fancy cameras.
As a photographer, I obviously LOVE photography and running this business. It is my dream job through and through.
T A Y L O R is really good at everything he does. For real, I don't know how he does it!
Cooking, music, installing things in our house, fixing computers, you name it.
He's also a mastermind at piano, audio/recording, and composing music. Talented and cute.
He's the manliest softy with an equal love for meat, beer, sports, adventure, video games & cooking, jazz music, cute babies, and cats.
T O G E T H E R we had a backyard Madison, Wisconsin wedding with gardens, tall pines, and waterfalls.
We're laughing at our baby/cat 75% of the time.
We love trying out new restaurants and secretly wish our hobby was working out rather than eating. Ha!
We are advocates of marriage, good food, exploring new places, & laughter.
We believe our purpose is to spread God's love + nothing matches that purpose for us.
Marriage is such a wonderful gift, and we want to treasure it fully as that - even on the harder days.
MY WHY AS A PHOTOGRAPHER:
My mom had been battling cancer throughout our engagement.
Two weeks before our wedding, she had brain surgery and doctors told her she was most likely not going to make it.
BUT, she was determined + able to be at our wedding, standing and present. She passed away two months later.
My "why" as a photographer is magnified when I look at my last pictures with her on our wedding day.
Photos are lasting memories and I'm so, so grateful for them!
Here are some snapshots of OUR wedding in May 2015. Thanks to Amanda Snyder for the photos we'll cherish forever!
