5 Pros to an unlinked pricing page vs a PDF guide

Minneapolis Photography Workshop and Education

Having a branded way to send over pricing to clients is a game-changer! The most common ways are by creating an unlinked website page or a PDF pricing guide (I recommend using a Canva template to create one if you choose this route)!

I’ve used both in the past, but here are 5 reasons I currently love using an unlinked website page to send pricing:

  1. People are lazy and don’t like opening attachments. They’re more likely to actually open a link than a PDF attachment!

  2. They can send the link to others like their parents/fiance and no one will struggle with opening the link. Picture: bride’s mom calling her saying, “I don’t know how to open this PDF.” Links are easy. :)

  3. Easier to update a website than a PDF file if you need to make adjustments.

  4. You can attach links to real wedding blogs or other parts of your website. The more you share real weddings or educate your clients (such as a blog to timeline planning tips), the more they’ll trust you! People are more likely to buy from people they can trust.

  5. You can easily send the link if someone DMs you on Instagram or you’re responding to an inquiry on your phone.

What do you personally use - a webpage or a PDF? Comment below! There are definitely pros and cons to both!
