the barnes' place rustic + elegant wedding - adel, ia / hayden and julia / minneapolis wedding photographer

i met hayden + julia at their february engagement shoot (click here to see it) in des moines' east village. they stood on ice that day and i remember being so blown away at how calmly they took on the 17 degree day!

they told me about what makes up their lives, how they grew up dating each other, + how they have a dream of living in brazil one day. they have a sweetness about them + their wedding day was full of it. they were calm and truly just loved the ones that came to celebrate them.

it was an honor to be a part of their day at one of my favorite des moines wedding venues, the barnes' place! seriously every square inch of that place has been thought through and i'm sure you'll see some of it in the photos.

h + j's family and friends were soo welcoming + kind from the beginning to the end of the day and it was a joy meeting those who made up the ones they loved.

we are so honored to have been a part of this BEAUTIFUL summer day with truly beautiful people!
