Des Moines Vintage Tea Party Bridal Shower

My best friend is getting married! She was the maid of honor at our wedding, and now I, along with our dear friend Chelsie, are Matrons of Honor in hers! So excited for this new season for her. :)

A few friends of ours, Delaney + Bethanie helped Chelsie + I host her bridal shower, and did such a fantastic job! Since Paige has always been a girl of vintage flare + style, we figured it had to be a piece of her bridal shower theme. We brought in the 1950's tea party theme with a variety of vintage hats her mom owned - one of them being the hat her mom wore on her wedding day! 

We had the best afternoon showering this bride with love, encouragement + playing games. I'll be listing the activities we had for some inspiration!  

Activity #1

Question Game: I asked her fiancé a series of questions ahead of time. The guests had to answer whether they thought she'd get the same answer as Nick or not. The person with the most right got a prize! 

Examples of questions: 

- Where was your first date? How many kids do you want? Etc.

Telephone Toast: Someone started a toast for Paige and it went around the circle like in the game Telephone. Turned out COMPLETELY different than the original obviously. ;) 

Then we wrapped it up + took some pictures! I can't wait until October when she and Nick say I do. It will be one of the most glamorous weddings hands down. <3
